We are 3, almost 4, games deep into the start of the 2019-2020 NHL season. There have been a lot of good things happening with your Boston Bruins up to now: starting 3-0 for the first time since the ’01-’02 season. The play of Charlie Coyle. The play of Brandon Carlo. Torey Krug, the 5’11†terror on skates. Here are some of thoughts on what we are seeing right now.

Charlie Coyle picks up where he left off: Marc Savard came out with a lot of praise for Charlie Coyle at the beginning of this year after the trade was announced that brought him from the Wild to the Bruins. Coyle has been in a lot of mentions and conversations so far this season. The sequence of play against Vegas in the 2nd Period was fun to watch. https://twitter.com/i/status/1181775245855875074
Jaroslav Halak picks up where he left off: ‘Jaro’ started in net for the B’s on Saturday the 5th against the Coyotes. He ended the night with a 35 save shutout(48th of his career) and the B’s took the game 1-0. The win put the B’s at 2-0 to start the season. The game also highlights the fact that the Bruins won the goaltending tandem lottery with Rask & Halak. Halak with a save: https://twitter.com/i/status/1180669944444456960
The top line picks up where they left off: The pass Pastrnak sent off the boards to Marchand in the Vegas game was a beautiful thing to watch. https://twitter.com/i/status/1181768858186735616. See whats happening here? We are seeing the Bruins settling in nicely to start the season with nary a sign of Cup Hangover. For the most part, the team stayed together and that’s been a recipe for success three games in. Game 4 is in Colorado tonight. Colorado comes in with a 2-0 record. If the B’s continue the current formula, expect them to be 4-0 by the end of the night!
