Monster Keys to Patriots Victory over the Jags

Well here we go, first trip to my least favorite foreign country, Florida. But no – not Miami those are keys cut for a different day. This week we are headed to Jagsonville. And besides the lovely TGI Fridays down there, I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would want to live here. It’s a muddy ugly flat flooded spiral urban mess, with a hurricane bullseye on its forehead. I fuckin hate everything about Florida.  Here are my Monster Keys to Patriots Victory over Jagsonville.

Stacks, Bunches and Motion – oh My

Here we go people. This week I can cut the key you all want. Pass to set up the run. Jags DC Anthony Campanile lives to shut down the run game. If the wideout is healthy I want to see him on the field. Use motion to help Maye return to Drake (Drake Maye) Maye status in the eyes of the media and honestly all of you. Force the Jags to show their hand presnap. This is the way.

Protect the Face

With Onwenu on the IR, I expect the Jags to attack the middle of this line, collapsing the pocket in Drake’s face. Van Roten and Morgan Moses have played together before so it won’t be their first dance. Van Roten along with Wilson and Vera-Tucker are going to have to beat up the interior defensive line while Campbell and Wilson control the edge giving Maye the opportunity to roll out. And exploit the Intermediate – Middle of the field.

No Fear

You can see it in his game. Drake Maye is not in a good headspace with this group of wide receivers yet. They’re  on the same page. But reading one sentence behind the other. He’s missing the anticipation throws he made last year by not throwing them. Do not fear the unknown.  Drake – throw the pass before the break.

The Weeklies

Win The Turnover Battle – It’s still too early to get into numbers. But we all saw last week what happens when you come out on top with this key. The points were the reason for the W.  Also What the Fuck does Christian Gonzalez have against grabbing a football. Just fall on the god damn ball.

Limit the Laundry

The Pats cut their flags down to just three last week vs the Rustbelts. They played a perfect first half against the Seahags before looking like a teenager’s room in the second half. Jagsonville has been a steady four a game early in the season.

Own third down

4 of 12 – Four of Twelve – on no planet is this acceptable. Jacksonville has been super stingy on third down to this point. I don’t want to see twelve this week.  Shoot for the sticks on second.

Red Zone – One Trip? Pathetic. This is directly attributed to the Pats choking after big plays last week. Turnovers – Penalties – Stalled Drives. Matriculate into the Red-Zone and get me points.

Man Up

No, I’m not afraid of Brian Thomas Jr. there is no fear of Parker Washington. Jakabi Mayers? Mr no YAC? Not with this set of corners. Woodson will be back this week, Gonzo is a bit of stickum away from elite. Pettus is about to hit IR Woodson is banged up, I don’t want to see a lot of passing any of the above mentioned off. Man up, I need good Pad level and gap integrity front he front.

Blow back Fabio’s Hair

There was a time when almost any NFL franchise would want Trevor Lawrence, those days are gone. Lawrence will be a mere footnote in NFL lore. This is another get up the middle game , Another Christian Barmore Milton Williams extravaganza, . Get after him get him on the ground . Shake this bird’s cage.

That’s it my rabid readers.  Another perfect set of keys cut. I know the Pats have had issues in FLA in the past. This game is a gift on a first place schedule.after all when you get down to it Jacksonville is just a bunch of JAGS
